Michelle Baker is a former Director from the Disney Institute and a Sr. Leader with Disney Cruise Line,
shoreside and onboard ships as an officer. Co-Founder of Stoneledge, Michelle is a consultant,
speaker, and executive coach who is all-in when it comes to helping leaders and organizations
lead better and live well. She is an Honors MBA graduate from the Jack Welch Management
Institute, Strayer University and is a certified health coach (HCI).

Will Hitchcock is an associate attorney at Gearhiser, Peters, Elliott & Cannon, PLLC, and
practices primarily in the areas of commercial leases, mergers and acquisitions, real
estate, business organization, and estate planning and administration. Will graduated
with his law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law. He received two
Academic Excellence Awards by earning the highest grade in his Legal Process and
Contract Drafting classes. During law school, he was a member of the Tennessee
Journal of Race, Gender, and Social Justice, and served as a student attorney in the
University of Tennessee Wills Clinic, where he drafted and executed a variety of estate
planning documents including wills, powers of attorney, and advanced directives.

The Corporate Transparency Act
This presentation explores the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA), a landmark U.S. law
designed to combat illicit activities such as money laundering. We will examine beneficial
ownership reporting requirements, compliance obligations for businesses, and the
impact of recent litigation on its implementation. Attendees will gain practical insights into
preparing for and adhering to the CTA.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
• Gain the ability to identify reporting companies and beneficial owners.
• Learn about the timeline for reporting and updating/correcting reports.
